The Biology Department at Carthage College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Biology with a focus on Ecological Sciences starting August 2016. The successful candidate will teach courses in Introductory Ecology and the Introductory Biology sequences as well as upper level biology courses based upon their area of expertise. Applicants are required to have a PhD in Biology with a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and the ability to establish a productive research program with undergraduates.
The Carthage Biology Department is housed in a newly expanded and renovated science center that includes more than $1.5 million in instrument and equipment investments.
