An excellent postdoc opportunity is now open at the University of Queensland, 
Australia.  These competitive UQ ECR Fellowships are open to postdocs (early 
career researchers) in any field of study and fund a three year research 
position (very competitive salary starting at ~AU$79,000 per year plus a very 
generous retirement package, accumulated paid carer and sick leave - including 
6-months full paid maternity leave if applicable).  

This postdoc opportunity provides salary only so applicants MUST find a 
sponsoring academic who they will work with during the fellowship and who will 
help them with their application and agree to a project  - each applicant 
should discuss project ideas directly with their sponsoring academic.    
Applicants must have earned their PhD on or after August 1, 2010 (though time 
off for parental/carers leave is allowable as a way of extending this date).

Please keep in mind that this is a highly competitive fellowship scheme and
