Dear Colleagues:
The National Oceanographic Committee of Cuba,
together with all marine sciences related
institutions, is pleased to announce that the
10th Congress on Marine Sciences, MarCuba2015,
will take place at the International Convention
Center in Havana, from November 16 to 20, 2015.
The meeting will summon scientists and other
professionals involved in marine and coastal
sciences, services and technology; as well as
environmental educators, sociologists,
economists, businessmen, policy-makers, and others.
The Organizing Committee of Marcuba 2015 is
particularly pleased in extending you a warm and
cordial invitation to attend this important
event, and it proposes an attractive program
that includes plenary conferences, thematic
commissions and special sessions to present the
state of the art topics in the field of marine sciences and services.
We invite you to participate in this exiting
scientific dialogue, and at the same time, to
enjoy the beauties of our landscape, our culture
and our people. We are confident that the 10th
Congress will be as successful as the one held
in 2012, which was attended by more than 500 participants from 20 countries.

El Comité Oceanográfico Nacional (CON) de
Cuba, junto a todas las instituciones
cientÃficas marinas nacionales, tiene el placer
de comunicarle que del 16 al 20 de noviembre del
2015, se celebrará, en el Palacio de
Convenciones de La Habana, el X Congreso de
Ciencias del Mar MarCubaâ2015. Bajo el lema
âIntegración de las Ciencias para la Gestión
de los Recursos Marinosâ, el evento convoca a
cientÃficos y demás profesionales vinculados a
las ciencias, sistemas de observación,
servicios y tecnologÃas costeras y marinas,
educadores, sociólogos, economistas, hombres de
negocios y gestores de polÃticas.
El Comité Organizador está cursando
invitaciones a diversas personalidades,
organizaciones gubernamentales y no
gubernamentales, y otros organismos nacionales e
internacionales. Confiamos en un Congreso tan
exitoso como el realizado en el año 2012, que
contó con la participación de más de 500 participantes de 30 paÃses.
