The Odum School of Ecology at the University of Georgia (
http://www.ecology.uga.edu/), dedicated to a broad and integrative approach
to ecology, invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the
level of Assistant or Associate Professor in Ecology. Candidates should
have an exceptional record of scholarship and growing prominence, as
evidenced by publications, extramural funding and synergistic activities.
We seek applicants from any ecological sub-discipline and working in any
study system; candidates with plans to utilize one or more of our field
stations and facilities (http://www.ecology.uga.edu/facilitiesList.php) are
especially encouraged to apply. Highly competitive candidates will be those
who link theory with data and have fostered synthesis and integration in
their work.

The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a rigorous,
externally funded research program, teach in our core undergraduate
courses, and contribute to graduate training. A PhD in Ecology or related
field is required, and at least one year of postdoctoral experience is
preferred.
