Description:
 
I am seeking graduate students (MS and PhD) to join my lab in the Department of 
Biological Sciences 
at Mississippi State University. The lab's main focus is on the effects of 
global change on ecological 
communities. Most of our work will involve manipulating the abiotic environment 
(e.g., temperature, 
precipitation, CO2, wind, light, etc) and measuring the direct and indirect 
effects on predators, 
herbivores, and plants. However, interested students with other exciting ideas 
are welcomed to apply.
 

Qualifications:
 
-B.S. degree in biology, ecology, or related field.
 -GRE scores are required, but there is no minimum.
 -International students should score at least 550 on the TOEFL or a score of 
at least 6.5 on the IELTS 
exam.
 
 
Stipend and Other Information:
 
Students will be guaranteed support via Teaching Assistantships. Nine-month 
stipends for MS 
students are $13,755, and for PhD students are $16,800. These come with 71% 
tuition waivers. There 
is a 100% waiver of all additional out-of-state and international fees and 
tuition while on TA. 
Additional summer support may be available.
