Assistant Professor - Plant Ecologist. The Department of Biological Sciences at the East Tennessee State University invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the area of plant ecology. Successful applicants will have a Ph.D. or equivalent, record of research excellence as demonstrated by publications in plant ecology or related fields, and an ability to develop an extramurally funded research program in an area of plant ecology. Teaching duties may include freshman-level biology and upper-level or graduate courses such as plant ecology or population biology. Candidates with research on the vegetation of the Appalachians and the southeast US are encouraged to apply.
