I will be teaching a winter term class on Biogeography this January. The
class meets 15 hours a week for three weeks. Since 3 hours a day makes for
a long class, I’m looking for active learning ideas (short labs, computer
simulations, etc) that would be appropriate for an upper division class
that will be a mix of science and non-science majors. If anyone has some
ideas they would be willing to share, please email me ([email protected]),
and I’d be happy to compile a list for others who might be interested.
