I will be teaching a winter term class on Biogeography this January. The class meets 15 hours a week for three weeks. Since 3 hours a day makes for a long class, I’m looking for active learning ideas (short labs, computer simulations, etc) that would be appropriate for an upper division class that will be a mix of science and non-science majors.
