The Department of Biological Sciences, University of Rhode Island invites
applications for a tenure-track position at the ASSISTANT PROFESSOR level to
start in Fall 2016. The successful candidate will develop a high quality,
nationally recognized, and externally-funded research program in marine
animal physiology (integrative, comparative, ecological, or environmental).
Teaching will include an upper-level course in marine organismal physiology
and participation in the sophomore-level Marine Biology course, and will
enhance both undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Advising and
mentoring of undergraduate and graduate (MS, PhD) students is expected. The
