Who: Past and present SERC community members. What: A day-long symposium to bring together alumni and current SERC community members to celebrate SERC’s fifty years of cultivating copious researchers, technicians, postdocs, students, interns, and volunteers. SERC’s semi-centennial is a poignant time to recognize and showcase SERC’s influence on the career paths, professional networks, and scientific ideas of individuals around the globe and how that has shaped environmental research, management, policy, and conservation. The symposium will also provide an opportunity for scientists from many generations to reconnect at SERC’s newly renovated campus and share with others their experiences while at SERC and beyond. There is no registration fee and all meals for the day will be provided for attendees.
