Who: Past and present SERC community members.

What: A day-long symposium to bring together alumni and current SERC
community members to celebrate SERC’s fifty years of cultivating copious
researchers, technicians, postdocs, students, interns, and volunteers.
SERC’s semi-centennial is a poignant time to recognize and showcase SERC’s
influence on the career paths, professional networks, and scientific ideas
of individuals around the globe and how that has shaped environmental
research, management, policy, and conservation. The symposium will also
provide an opportunity for scientists from many generations to reconnect at
SERC’s newly renovated campus and share with others their experiences while
at SERC and beyond. There is no registration fee and all meals for the day
will be provided for attendees.
