Hello Fellow Stewards of the Environment!

Reaching out once more because this is the last 10 days of fundraising for
our future sea turtle/environmental conservationists! I'm working as an
environmental education intern at ARCAS, one of the only wildlife
conservation and rehabilitation organizations on the Pacific Coast of
Guatemala and right now, we have an awesome project called Rally Parlama.
This is a program consisting of six different activities related to
environmental education and sea turtle conservation. Students from six
different rural schools within Guatemala have been working extremely hard
in order to successfully complete the activities and win a trip of a life
time to Antigua. Each activity is correlated to conservation and
environmental empowerment for the local people of Guatemala. For example,
one of the activities is to find a nest and bring it to our Tortugario.
Another activities has the students searching for 100 mangrove seeds to
plant here at ARCAS all with the goal of supporting this vital and dynamic
ecosystem within Guatemala. With all of that said, ARCAS is a non-profit in
Guatemala with limited funds and support from the government. SO, if you at
ECOLOG-L could checkout the link below and spread the word to people
interested in supporting sea turtle conservation me, and more importantly,
my students/future generations of conservationists would greatly appreciate
it. Every dollar counts!
