Job Description:
Roger Williams University seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor in 
Statistics. This is a tenure-track position. The successful candidate will 
display an active and demonstrated interest in teaching at the undergraduate 
level, a commitment to ongoing curriculum development, a willingness to 
supervise undergraduate research projects, and an established and ongoing 
program of scholarly activity. The strongest candidates will demonstrate an 
active interest in building RWU's emerging public health program, as well as 
forging interdisciplinary curricular and/or research collaborations, both 
within the University, as well as with outside academic institutions, 
government agencies, and industrial partners.

Requirements:
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. and special consideration will be given to 
candidates specializing in Statistics. The chosen candidate may be a Ph.D. in 
Mathematics, in the natural sciences, or in a social science field in which the 
candidate has significant statistical and quantitative training. Candidates 
with an interest in health statistics will be especially considered. Highly 
desirable candidates are those who have experience teaching at the 
undergraduate level and have a record of scholarly activity. A demonstrated 
interest in curricular development in an interdisciplinary environment is 
highly desirable.
