Dear ECOLOG community,
We are looking for university-level lecturers and faculty to help pilot a rainforest virtual world
where students take on the role of a scientist: collecting data, determining carbon storage,
and considering ethical issues in the process. Your students would either be assigned to work
in a virtual world or use a web-based activity. This activity, soon to be published in the Journal
of Biological Education, takes approximately 4-6 hours of student out-of-class work time.
Participating educators will be compensated $75 for including the activity in their classroom.
Interested? Contact me at [email protected] or the PI, Dr. Nadolny, at
[email protected].
Best,
Matt Nowatzke
