Looking for a field assistant to help with UC Berkeley / NSF ecological
research into crop pollination in
Ecuador. Research is based in Tena, but involves periodic trips to the
surrounding area to take samples
at various sites.

Looking for help specifically January and February 2016. Partial weeks possible
(minimum three), but
whole two months preferred.

All meals and housing will be provided, airfare however is not included. Field
trips may involve
camping or homestays depending on location, and up to 16 days in villages or 12
days in backcountry.
No previous scientific experience necessary, but you should probably be an
outdoor person with a
willingness to learn! If you are interested in being published as a co-author
on papers, post-field work
is also available, let's discuss!

Days in the field may be very long. Transportation from Quito provided. Contact
me for more info!
