The Department of Biology at John Carroll University is accepting applications for funded teaching assistantships in various areas of Biology at the master's level. The Drenovsky research lab anticipates one opening beginning in fall of 2016. Funding includes a full tuition waiver and competitive stipend. Members of the Drenovsky lab ask questions at the plant-soil interface, as related to the mineral nutrition and ecology of plants growing on unique soil types (e.g., serpentine and gypsum soils), whole plant nutrient resorption and storage, and plant functional traits related to plant invasiveness. Recent publications from the Drenovsky lab can be found on Dr. Drenovsky’s professional website (http://sites.jcu.edu/biology/professor/rebecca-e-drenovsky/).
