"Advancing in statistical modelling using R" Delivered by Dr Luc Bussiere and Dr Tom Houslay
The course is designed to bridge the gap between basic R coding and more advanced statistical model advanced statistical modelling. It will consist of a series of modules (listed below), each lasti (listed below), each lasting roughly half a day, and designed to either build required skills for build required skills for future modules or to perform a family of analyses that is frequently encount that is frequently encountered in the biological literature. Each module will include practical and will include practical and self-assessment exercises to help attendees gauge their understanding gauge their understanding of the concepts. All course materials (including copies of presentations, p copies of presentations, practical exercises, self-assessment problems, data files, and example sc data files, and example scripts prepared by the instructing team) will be provided electronically to provided electronically to participants. http://prstatistics.com/course/advancing-in-statistical-modelling-using-r-advr/ Course content advr/ Course content is as follows Day 1: Module 1 Introduction & data visualization using (graphics) and (ggplot2) Module 2 Univariate regression, diagnostics & plotting fits Day 2: Module 3 Adding additional continuous predictors (multiple regression).
