Hi all- There will be a special session at the June, 2016 Santa Fe ASLO meeting focused on responses to environmental change in mountain aquatic ecosystems (SS17).
http://www.sgmeet.com/aslo/santafe2016/sessionschedule.asp?SessionID=SS17 The session emphasizes ecological, hydrological, and biogeochemical research focused on aquatic ecosystems found in mountainous regions around the world. We welcome research that explores species and/or ecosystem responses to environmental change, including analyses of long term datasets, space for time substitutions, field surveys, model driven analyses, and other efforts to understand the structure and function of mountain ecosystems. Studies that explore linkages between terrestrial, atmospheric, and aquatic habitats are particularly encouraged, as are those that explore linkages within and among aquatic habitats. We encourage you to submit an abstract: deadline is 2 February 2016. Please feel free to forward this message to colleagues who may be interested.
