The Department of Pathobiological Sciences, School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking candidates for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the field of infectious diseases of public health importance to animals and humans. Exceptional candidates for early-stage Associate Professor may also be considered.
Potential areas of emphasis include public health veterinary medicine, immunology, parasitology, bacteriology, virology, mycology and epidemiology. There are excellent opportunities for the new faculty to integrate into existing strengths in infectious disease and translational research in the School of Veterinary Medicine, Global Health Institute, School of Medicine and Public Health, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and Wisconsin Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory.
