Summer 2016 Seaside Center Co-Naturalists

Two seasonal, full-time positions, five days per week, 10 AM – 6 PM, 
Tuesday – Sunday (weekends plus Labor Day required, flex day off). June 
8, 2016 through September 8, 2016.
  
Responsibilities include the co-management and daily operation of the 
Seaside Center at Greenwich Point Park, Old Greenwich, CT; development 
and implementation of environmental educational activities for drop-in 
visitors of all ages; working directly with the public and organized 
groups; upkeep of 200+-gal marine aquariums and touch tank; supervision 
of high school volunteers and interns. Possibility to conduct research 
projects involving the Long Island Sound. 

Preferred applicants will have a Bachelor’s degree in a science, 
education, or a relevant subject; teaching experience; and a familiarity 
with marine aquariums and Long Island Sound ecosystem. Area residents 
preferred. Compensation $12 – 16/hour, dependent on experience.
