fellowship opportunities for well-qualified applicants to the Ph.D.
program.

Qualifications (Ph.D.): A Masters degree in a related field is
preferred, but well-qualified graduates with a B.S. and research
experience will also be considered.

Qualifications (M.S.): An undergraduate degree in biology, marine
sciences, or oceanography, and some research experience.

The UL Lafayette campus is located in the heart of Acadiana - a rich
cultural area known for its excellent food, music, festivals and quality
of life. The Biology Department consists of approximately 30 faculty
members, over 70 students currently pursuing graduate degrees, and
several postdoctoral research associates. The Biology Department is
actively growing with new faculty hires in the last two years and three
expected this year. We are actively engaged in research and education as
part of one of the largest biology programs located on the Gulf Coast.

If you are interested in pursuing graduate studies in the Stauffer Lab,
please email Dr. Beth Stauffer ([email protected]) a single pdf
