Hi Ecolog-ers, I’m posting this brief message to the ecology community in hopes that I might be able to make a few direct connections regarding job opportunities. I’m currently seeking a full-time position in the New England region, especially MA or RI, as a coastal ecologist, habitat or restoration specialist, environmental analyst, or similar.
Briefly, my skill set is two-fold. As an ecologist, I am particularly interested in the impacts of human activity on marine invertebrates and the coastal environment in New England, and how research can lead to mitigation of those effects. I have also done significant work with salt marsh vegetation and restoration. Second, as a writer and artist, I am concerned with the communication of science to inform and empower lay audiences, and to foster collaboration between groups who are often disconnected. I hold a M.E.S.M. in conservation biology and a B.S. in marine biology, both from the University of Rhode Island. I would be thrilled to connect with anyone interested in talking with me further, and I am happy to provide a resume upon request. Please contact me off the listserv at [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> to avoid a potentially long public thread! Thank you all, I very much appreciate it. Cheers, Brandon Fuller Brandon J. C. Fuller Coastal Ecologist Science Communications Specialist [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>
