If you are interested in participating in this timely discussion on the role of tropical forests in sustainable development, register for the conference at http://istf.yale.edu/registration Tangible products from these discussions will provide much needed documentation of the essential roles tropical forests play in sustainable development issues less typically seen as connected to forest programs, for example, those of poverty alleviation; gender empowerment; food security; energy access; sustainable economic growth, production and consumption; and human well-being.
