Post-doctoral Researcher in Soil Microbial Ecology &
Biogeochemistry
A post-doctoral position is now available in the Ecology Center and
the Department of
Biology at Utah State University, Logan, UT. The successful candidate
will contribute to a
project examining how soil microbial growth efficiencies are
influenced by drought in agroecosystems.
Minimum qualifications include: a PhD in biogeochemistry, soil science,
microbial ecology, or a related field; good quantitative skills;
excellent written and oral
communication skills; evidence of research productivity, demonstrated
by publications in
quality peer-reviewed journals; and the ability to work closely with
others and independently
at field sites. Additional background in analytical chemistry and
stable isotope techniques is
