Postdoctoral Position in Landscape Ecology Candidates are invited to apply for a postdoctoral position in Landscape Ecology at the Natural Resources Research Institute (NRRI) <http://www.nrri.umn.edu/default/about.htm> affiliated with the University of Minnesota Duluth. The postdoc will have the opportunity to work with Drs. Chris Wright and Glenn Guntenspergen on an NSF Macrosystems Biology project studying the effects of climate- and land use change on habitat connectivity across the US Great Plains. Experience in one or more of the following areas is desired: habitat connectivity, graph theory, land cover/land use change, simulation modeling, climate change, remote sensing, geospatial analysis, avian ecology, amphibian ecology, wetland ecology, or ecohydrology. The postdoc will have opportunities to interact with a multi-disciplinary group of ecologists and environmental scientists at NRRI’s Center for Water and the Environment (CWE) <http://www.nrri.umn.edu/cwe/default.htm>. Broadly, NRRI is an applied research institute dedicated to informing environmental management and policy and developing sustainable, natural resource-based industries.
