I've been a science writer for 18 years, and I'm writing an article
for Nature's career section that will help young researchers
understand ways to accommodate the impact of climate change on
ecological studies. If you are studying birds or other wildlife and
have had to alter variables such as the location of your studies in
recent years, or how you get funded, or the timeframe, I'd be
interested in hearing from you. Providing advice on how postdocs/grad
students could prep for these realities would be an important part of
the article, and the ask.
