The National Science Foundation just released a Dear Colleague Letter and Program Solicitation for its new broadening participation initiative called INCLUDES (INCLUSION ACROSS THE NATION OF COMMUNITIES OF LEARNERS THAT HAVE BEEN UNDERREPRESENTED FOR DIVERSITY IN ENGINEERING AND SCIENCE). Preliminary proposals are due 15 April 2016. Invited full proposals will be due 24 June 2016. Please spread the word about this exciting opportunity aimed at improving the preparation, increasing the participation, and ensuring the contributions of individuals from groups that have traditionally been underrepresented and underserved in the STEM enterprise, including women, members of racial and ethnic groups, persons with disabilities, and persons with low socio-economic status.
