Hello all,

I would like to draw your attention to the availability of a brand new
scientific app on the iTunes App Store. Artedi is a educational app
designed to help teach Caribbean fish identification while underwater,
structured as a simple electronic survey sheet that saves abundance and
diversity information in a .csv file for easy upload to Excel. The app is
available for iPad and is used with the iDive underwater tablet housing. It
launched in January this year and is freely available to all users
worldwide. You can find more information about the app and a link to
download it here <http://www.artediapp.com> or by visiting www.artediapp.com

Please download it and start using it - we want to hear your feedback! We
have several more features planned, and a few in development right now. If
you are a professor or instructor that often teaches fish identification to
students or citizen scientists, then we hope you find this app useful and
effective at complementing your classroom instruction with hands-on
learning underwater.

Feel free to share this app with any colleagues or organizations who may
find it interesting. We are receptive and eager to hear any feedback you
may have so that we can continue to improve Artedi.

Thank you,
Chelsea
