DONATIONSNEEDED FOR SILENT AUCTION FUNDRAISER AT US-IALE ASHEVILLE It is thattime of year again to browse your burgeoning bookshelves and select a few keytextbooks that you would like to donate to the US Chapter of the InternationalAssociation of Landscape Ecologists (US-IALE) Foreign Scholar Travel Award (FSTA)silent auction. At the US-IALEin Asheville, NC, April 3-7, 2016, the FSTA committee will once again host asilent book auction, the funds of which go toward travel grants to support theattendance of international scientists at next year’s meeting. We have beenfortunate to get awesome donations from several publishing companies, but weneed YOUR support to fill our silent auction tables! Please help by bringing acouple spare textbooks. There will be a place to drop them off at registration. If you don’thave any books to spare, then you need to buy something at the silent auction!!Bidding will begin with Plenary Session I on Monday April 4 and end at 9:40a.m. Wed April 6 after the morning coffee break.
