Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Environmental Science Siena College The Environmental Studies and Sciences Department at Siena College is seeking applicants for a full-time, tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning September 1, 2016. The successful candidate must have a completed Ph.D. in environmental science or a closely related discipline by the effective date of hire. Candidates will be expected to teach lecture and laboratory sections of an introductory Environmental Science course, a core course for non-majors dealing with issues of sustainability or biological diversity, and will have the opportunity to develop and teach upper-level Environmental Science courses in his/her sub-discipline. Experience with teaching at a primarily undergraduate institution preferred. Our growing department seeks a colleague who shares our commitment to undergraduate teaching and research that integrates the biophysical and social sciences in the study of the environment. A background screening will be required.
