Dear Ecologers,

I am an environmental scientist, enthusiast of outdoor activities with a J1
VISA this year in USA. I have one month left (in June) before flying back to my
country after my research fellowship is over, and would like to volunteer for
research field work experience taking place outdoor (prioritizing the National
Parks in west coast or Alaska) as a way to both, enjoy the landscape and take
further experience back home. From jobs opening that have been shared in this
server I see researchers mainly post for longer term and payed positions, both
conditions which I cannot comply with.

I would appreciate if someone can recommend links where I can find positions
that match with my time and VISA limitations. I can also send my CV for those
interested in me volunteering for their research. I have worked professionally
in climate change urban policies and solid waste research and outreach mainly,
but my degree included botanica, soil and ecology courses so I am eager to work
in basic science research as I haven“t had the opportunity yet.

Thanks for sharing,

Josefina
