The prestigious U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Mendenhall Research
Fellowship Program has a postdoc position open to study regional ecosystem
changes and environmental consequences in the southwestern United States.
The postdoc is encouraged to take advantage of the land change detection
products generated by the USGS Land Change Monitoring, Assessment, and
Projection (LCMAP) to assess ecosystem change characteristics and
consequences on climate, water, carbon, or other important environmental
issues.
