A postdoctoral position in evolutionary endocrinology is available in the laboratory of Dr. Jenny Ouyang, Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Biology at the University of Nevada, Reno. A competitive starting salary plus benefits will be provided. Preferred start date is September 1, 2016.
In the Ouyang lab, we are interested in understanding how animals are physiologically adapted to changing environments. We empirically test, in natural and laboratory avian populations, how, and at what rate, hormonally-regulated traits can evolve. Current field sites include various locations in Reno and the UNR main station field lab with 1000 acres of prime farmland. More information about the lab can be found at www.jennyouyang.com.
