Dear friends, I am teaching Statistics for Biology undergraduate students and I would like to develop a simulation comparing the a species among different forest fragments. The idea is to test the fragmentation effect in the species genetic structure.
I would like to do something realistic but I don’t know what kind of genetic variables I could simulate. Maybe counting and comparing the nitrogenous bases (A G T C) proportion in continuous and fragmented forests? Thanks for any help! Prof. Dr. J. C.
