Graduate Research Assistant: Riverine water quality monitoring and modeling
I am seeking a motivated student to pursue a graduate degree at a Master or PhD level. The student will conduct intensive water quality sampling in the Mississippi-Atchafalaya Rivers. The goal of the research is to assess transfer and environmental fate of riverine carbon and trace metals. Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree (for master program) or a master's degree (for PhD program) and have completed at least one degree in a science major such water resources, soil science, environmental science, natural resources, or a closely related discipline. A strong work ethic and the ability to work both as part of a team and independently are critical. The student must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
