For more details or to apply go to USAJOBS. https://www.usajobs.gov/GetJob/ViewDetails/439962500 Duties At the entry level of this position you will: - Assist in the execution and analysis of experiments as a member of one or more research teams within the larger framework of the Office of Research and Development ecological research projects; - Assist in modifying, validating and applying methods to assess experimental endpoints; - Provide information and advice on laboratory procedures and operations; - Assist in implementing and adhering to Laboratory, health and safety, quality assurance and other system requirements. Your answers to the on-line assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas: 1) Knowledge of ecological research project planning and management; 2) Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team; 3) Skill in field and laboratory work; 4) Knowledge of ecology and ecosystems analysis; 5) Skill in written communication; 6) Skill in oral communication; 7) Knowledge of quality assurance procedures, standard operating procedures, laboratory quality systems, and laboratory health and safety systems.
