University of Wisconsin-Stout Biology Sabbatical Replacement. We are seeking an energetic and well- trained individual with a commitment to excellence in undergraduate science education to teach introductory courses in General Biology, Environmental Science, and Plant Biology. The successful candidate will be dedicated to improving STEM education at the introductory College or University level and dedicated to the retention and recruitment of undergraduate students into the STEM fields. The position is an academic calendar (9-month) appointment with a competitive salary. The start date is August 24 2016. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in the biological sciences with teaching expertise in general biology and environmental science, although qualified M.S. candidates will be considered. Evidence of teaching excellence at the undergraduate level and training in effective classroom approaches is desired.
