I would like to purchase a minirhizotron for an experiment measuring roots. I
believe that Bartz Technology Corporation is the primary (only?) company that
makes the minirhizotron. Because minirhizotrons are expensive, I would like to
see if anyone has a used minirhizotron that they are looking to sell. Please
e-mail me ([email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>) if you have
a minirhizotron that you are looking to sell.

I had originally planned to take root photos using web cameras as has been
described by some researchers, but I am having difficulties getting that to
work. If anyone is conducting experiments where you are measuring root growth
in clear tubes within soil with something other than a minirhizotron for the
camera, I would also be grateful for information on how you are imaging the
roots.

Thank you,
Meghann
