The Biology Department at St. Edward's University is currently accepting applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2016-2017 academic year. St. Edward's University is a private, Catholic liberal arts institution of more than 5,300 students located in Austin, Texas.
The teaching load is 12 hours per semester of undergraduate biology courses. Specific courses will be determined by the time of appointment. Qualifications: A Ph.D. in a biological discipline is required. A strong commitment to, and potential for excellence in, undergraduate teaching is required. Successful completion of an employment and/or criminal history background check is required.
