Working with park program leaders, the individual provides logistical support for park programs and projects taking place in the Manu'a Islands. Due to the remote setting, the skill set required to be successful at this position is wide and varied, and includes some knowledge of resource management, facility and vehicle maintenance and education. Community outreach and relationship building skills will be key in this position. Open ocean boat handling skills are also a plus. The individual will advise the superintendent on all issues related to the Ofu and Ta'u units of the park, and the associated communities.
