Theoretical/Quantitative Ecologist, Assistant or Associate Professor 

The Department of Ecology, Evolution and Natural Resources
(http://deenr.rutgers.edu/) and the Department of Marine and Coastal
Sciences (https://marine.rutgers.edu/main/) at Rutgers, the State University
of New Jersey, invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position in
Theoretical/Quantitative Ecology at the rank of Assistant or Associate
Professor. We are searching for a highly creative, productive and
collaborative scientist whose work addresses fundamental topics in any area
of ecological theory using modeling, computation, or other mathematical
approaches.  The specific research and system of study are open. The
candidate is expected to have, or develop, an internationally recognized
research program, mentor graduate and undergraduate students in the
candidate’s area of expertise, and teach both graduate and undergraduate
courses. This position requires a PhD at the time of appointment, with
post-doctoral experience preferred.
