The Goldberg lab at University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking a highly motivated individual for a technical position in the molecular ecology of emerging infectious disease. The individual will participate in an exciting research program that includes microbiology (especially virology), molecular biology and evolution, and disease ecology, in addition to contributing to the management of the laboratory. Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree and substantive experience in molecular biology research. Applicants should have proven research experience with transcriptomics, next-generation DNA sequencing, and associated bioinformatics.
