I plannig to suggest a wood walkway above de floor (60cm above) for people using wheelchairs or walking sticks. I dont know about the available budget until now but I would like to recieve suggestions about the best material, design, possible mistakes based in past projects you have. Also, another idea is to suggest a trail for bicycles but including a set of monitoring variables to measure possible impacts. The trail is like a road inside the rainforest almost 10m wide (2km lenght) and I am worry about the soil during heavy rains in the summer. I would like to recieve suggestions about how to monitore possible impacts and calculations of how many bikers could be using the trail each week. My guess is ten bikers each week to start and after one year evaluate the experience. Any ideas? Suggestions? Thanks for any help! Prof. Dr. J. C.
