Assistant Professor, Human Dimensions of Natural Resources, University of Idaho The Department of Natural Resources and Society (NRS) at the University of Idaho invites applications for an academic year (nine-month), tenure-track faculty position as an assistant professor in human dimensions of natural resources. The area of specialty is open, but we seek candidates with research expertise in applied psychology, sociology or related fields who investigate human interactions with natural resources and the environment. That focus should include the role of human behaviors, attitudes, and social norms as they apply to evolving practices of natural resource management. This appointment will include responsibilities for teaching/advising (40%), research (50%) and outreach/service (10%).
