Candidates are invited to apply for the position of Partnerships and Grants 
Management Officer in the Washington DC office of IUCN, International Union for 
Conservation of Nature.
 
Based in the U.S. national capital, the primary role of the IUCN Washington 
D.C. Office is to engage with the U.S. Government and leading policy and 
financial institutions to foster dialogue and action on nature-based solutions 
to some of humanity's greatest challenges. We achieve this by promoting and 
sharing IUCN's science-based knowledge products among policymakers and the 
private sector, convening Member organisations to provide input on partner 
policies and standards, and working alongside government agencies to develop 
conservation and sustainable development programmes around the globe.
 
The Partnerships and Grants Management Officer will support IUCN and IUCN-US 
with the coordination of donor reporting and quality control, communications, 
and partnership development in the U.S. This position will require professional 
interaction with a wide variety of conservation and development professionals 
in many different organizations. It will include assisting with the screening 
of project proposals submitted to US funders, as well as ensuring timely 
delivery of quality reports to funders, including private foundations, 
individuals, corporations and U.S. Government agencies.

Contract term: 12 months, full-time
Gross salary: $60,000 per year, plus healthcare and retirement benefits
