Coastal Herpetology is once again being offered through the University of 
Southern Mississippi. This summer short-course will be held from May 22 – June 
2, 2017 at the Gulf Coast Research Laboratory in beautiful Ocean Springs, MS. 
Topics include the identification, life history, and ecology of amphibians and 
reptiles of the Coastal Plain. This course will provide students with an 
introduction to field herpetology through lectures, discussions, a class 
project, and many field excursions. Undergraduate or graduate credit is
