I've been contacted by a reporter who is investigating how the freeze on
grants and contracts by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, a move
that could affect a significant part of the agency’s budget allocations
and even threaten to disrupt core operations ranging from toxic cleanups
to water quality testing, will influence research and academia. She
would like the perspective of seasoned researchers who use government
data in their work or regularly collaborate with government employees of
some sort. Most importantly, she is looking for researchers who are
_willing to go on record_. If you are interested in communicating with
her I can make the link. This is for the Wall Street Journal.
