Sarah Ouimette (M.sc. student in Dr. Lessard's lab at Concordia University) is looking for a motivated, hard-working summer research assistant for this upcoming summer (May-August 2017). The position will involve catching live dragonfly and damselfly larvae and adults, identifying specimens down to species, and conducting thermal tolerance tests under controlled laboratory conditions.
The project will be based at the University of Quebec in Rimouski and is co-supervised by ecophysiologist Dr. Calosi. Research assistants may be required to work irregular hours, including long days and weekends.
