*Staff Position - Business Manager - National Institute for Mathematical and Biological Synthesis (NIMBioS)

*The National Institute for Mathematical and Biological Synthesis (NIMBioS) seeks a business manager for an interdisciplinary science center with a budget of $3 to 4 million annually. Responsibilities include: financial reporting and reconciliation, budget development, grant and contract accounting, accounts receivable, inventory, contracting, purchasing, payroll and HR procedures, supervising business functions performed by others and working collaboratively with business staff and faculty in other departments and campuses. Position is funded through August 2018 with continuation contingent on funding. A bachelor's degree and five years of experience or ten years equivalent experience is required. Applicants should have five or more years of experience with business management, including externally funded projects; supervisory experience; use of spreadsheets for financial analysis, planning and tracking; outstanding problem solving and analytical skills, verbal and written communication skills and ability to assist individuals from diverse backgrounds in fiscal matters.
