Washington State University Vancouver Biology Program is seeking applicants for Adjunct Faculty to teach an animal behavior course with two lab sections during the Fall 2017 semester (August 21 – December 19).

*Animal Behavior**[M] (Biol 438):* 3 credits (2 lecture credit and 3 lab contact hours).Biological study of animal behavior as viewed from ethological, genetic, developmental, ecological, and evolutionary perspectives.Prerequisite: Biol 106 (Introductory Biology). Lecture: Monday and Wednesday: 9:10 – 10:00 am; lab section 1: Monday 11:10 am – 1:50 pm; lab section 2: Monday 3:10 – 5:50 pm.Expected Enrollment: 30 - 40 students (maximum of 20 per lab section). Instructor will have access to existing course material.

*QUALIFICATIONS:* Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in a related discipline. Preferred qualifications include experience in teaching undergraduate courses at a college level. Successful candidates must demonstrate a commitment to working with diverse student and community populations.

*COMPENSATION:*Total lecture (2-credits) and lab (6-contact hours; 3-contact hours per lab section) compensation of $9,456.
