The Department of Biological Sciences at the Middle East Technical University (METU) in Ankara, Turkey is inviting applications for an Assistant Professor position in the field of terrestrial ecology.

Field-based research should be integrated with other approaches (e.g. modelling, computational, molecular, genomic). Successful candidates should demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain a high impact, an externally funded research program in ecology, as well as teach and train undergraduate and graduate students in ecology. The successful applicant will join a strong group of ecologists and evolutionary biologists with diverse interests in the Department of Biological Sciences at METU which is a public university and has consistently been ranked as the highest quality research and teaching institutions in Turkey.
