Earthwatch is an international nonprofit organization that engages people worldwide in scientific field research and education to promote the understanding and action necessary for a sustainable environment. Earthwatch is currently seeking proposals from scientists for field- based research that engages citizen scientists (recruited by Earthwatch) in projects that address key conservation and sustainability issues in the following areas: - Boston Urban Resiliency - Global Conservation Priorities - Ocean Ecosystems - Glaciology and Polar Ecology - Restoration Ecology - Sustainable Agriculture and Forest Ecosystems - Rewilding the UK - Urban Resiliency In all of these areas, we are prioritizing research that helps increase understanding of global change.
